Selling a Boat? List Your Boat at Jim's Anchorage!

We have been selling consignment boats, for over 50 years. And, we know how to price and market boats to sell! If you have a boat that you would like to sell, please consider listing it with us.

We will do the following to help sell your boat:

  1. We will provide a professional evaluation of the fair market value for your boat, based on manufacturer, model, condition and past usage.
  2. List your boat on the World Wide Web at www.jimsanchorage.com and get exposure to thousands of prospective boat buyers. We'll provide photos of your boat and details about what is included with your boat, as well as information on your motor and trailer, if you own one.
  3. Market your boat on our weekly brokerage list that is available in our store. Since we are only minutes from the Seven Points recreation area, we see many potential customers during the boating season. 
  4. When you list with us, you'll get free storage of your boat for the selling season. This makes it easy for us to take prospective boat owners for rides when needed.

About our fees:

Jim's Anchorage gets a 10% commission on boats where the owner takes prospective buyers for rides and a 15% commission on the sale price for boats where we do the rides. This is deducted at the time of purchase.

Acceptable Boats:

We will usually accept any boat for sale with a value over $5000. We do not sell sail boats. Jim's Anchorage reserves the right to not accept a boat for brokerage sale for any reason.
